1st HS Brutal Track . The track was 95% the same as last year but we ran it backwards which made for some brutal terrain and steep leading edge whoops. Wish some clubs would utilize more of the available property to change things up when the poperty has more to offer. Just saying. When you ride practice and the whoops are already 2 to 3 feet deep you know it's going to be a long day.

I see Sacco's posting on FTR forums again! No sight or smell of him over here? He obviously knows who the king is around these parts.

I can't speak for the Saturday course but I thought the Sunday track was great. Some sections were a little "faster" than I like but overall a good combination of woods and open terrain. I really enjoyed it.

Now it's time to think about the upcoming Croom Enduro. Who's going to be there? We still have some prime work assignments available.

The Croom Enduro is coming up on October 6th. The Suncoast crews have been working hard on trail rehab and course layout. This year we've changed things up a little by reversing the normal direction and changing up some of the check locations. We've added two additional checks and a reset in the North section.

The work assignments for race day are going fast but we still have some prime positions available for you lucky Nature Coast members who choose to participate. There are openings for check crew workers as well as road crossing attendants and signup personnel. The check crew positions allow you to "be one with nature" and spend several breathtaking hours in the woods with your friends or family while you interact with dozens of wild and crazy dirtbike riders - GOOD TIMES. If you prefer to remain on the beaten path, as a Road Crossing Attendant you'll be stationed at a strategic location along a traveled road. Here you'll get to observe and instruct the riders while keeping them safe from motor vehicle interventions. The major plus is that you'll get to "boss around" a bunch of unruly dirtbikers.

The attached chart shows the work assignments and what positions are still available. The numbers along the right margin indicate the number of personnel still needed for that assignment. If you're interested in helping, and we hope you are, please post your name and what assignment you prefer here in this thread. I'll update the chart as the positions fill up.

DON'T DELAY - post your choice today so you don't miss out on this chance of a lifetime.

Thanks,
